EU Commissioner Hahn to Speak About Serbia’s EU Future in Belgrade

EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn will be visiting Belgrade to meet with Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić and other officials on Friday.

Just two days after President of the European Commission Juncker reaffirmed the EU’s perspective for Serbia and the Western Balkans at the State of the European Union, Commissioner Hahn will be arriving in Belgrade on September 15 for several meetings and to deliver what he has announced as a “a keynote speech on Serbia’s European future.”

The Commissioner took to Twitter on Thursday, ahead of the trip, to reiterate the Eu’s commitment to Serbia’s accession to the European Union and the EU’s support for the country’s reform process. Hahn will be sitting down with Serbia’s President, as well as Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, First Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić.
